My long passion in human culture is, I think, what makes the world so fascinating to me.  Seeing it in action, where it’s going, and particularly where it has come from as it all begins to coalesce on a global scale.

Ancient ruins are a big reason of why I keep travelling.  Though the romantic lore of lost jungle cities may now be a thing of the past, seeing the roots of human civilization is, I believe, a sensational inspiration.
