So this may be pushing the Travel Theme a bit far but I’m currently only limited to the iPhone as I am traveling.
So a couple can be any pair or partnership or companion working together? I therefore submit the border towns of Chiang Khong, Thailand and Huay Xai, Laos as my couple.
Arriving from Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong by a rickety 2 hour bus around 5 pm, it was a quick boat trip across the Mekong into Lao, where I exchanged 12000 baht into kip and became a multi-millionaire.
The main road running parallel the Mekong is dotted with guest houses and restaurants overlooking the river. Thankfully, I arrived in time for a nice sunset over the Thailand horizon.
