“. . . a short road that has the longest dream in the world.”

Khao San Road

It’s a first stop, departure point, and a final stop for so many not only in Thailand, but southeast Asia as a whole.  Lined with stands and shops selling nearly anything you could think of, it’s a place to grab a beer and spend an afternoon walking down the street.  Or a place to have an epiphany about where and what the rest of your life might be.

A short city bus ride away, it’s become a regular spot for a weekend activities.  Whether I am craving a burger and pizza, need to pick up a new English book, or just want an interesting place to people watch.  This area gives you the best of almost everything.

Benjamin

Hi all, my name is Ben. I’m a native Michigander with a passion for human culture and new places, and more than that, new experiences. I have degrees in archaeology and writing, pursuing a career in the latter. However, I never quite lost that fascination for archaeological theory. For the past 9 years, I’ve been living and travelling in Asia, documenting ancient sites and the peoples who built them, and then adapting them into practical archaeological travel information at PathsUnwritten.com.

What are your thoughts?
