“. . . a short road that has the longest dream in the world.”

Khao San Road

It’s a first stop, departure point, and a final stop for so many not only in Thailand, but southeast Asia as a whole.  Lined with stands and shops selling nearly anything you could think of, it’s a place to grab a beer and spend an afternoon walking down the street.  Or a place to have an epiphany about where and what the rest of your life might be.

A short city bus ride away, it’s become a regular spot for a weekend activities.  Whether I am craving a burger and pizza, need to pick up a new English book, or just want an interesting place to people watch.  This area gives you the best of almost everything.

Benjamin Williams

Hi all, my name is Ben. I’m a native Michigander with a passion for human culture and new places, and more than that, new experiences. I have degrees in archaeology and writing, pursuing a career in the latter. However, I never quite lost that fascination for archaeological theory. For the past 11 years, I’ve been living and travelling between Asia, Europe, and North America, documenting ancient sites and the peoples who built them, and then adapting them into practical archaeological travel information at PathsUnwritten.com. https://pathsunwritten.com/about-me/
